Customization

Both EMC Infra and Alt Vision recognize that their customers will sometimes need to customize Infra to best meet the needs of their organization. 

Customization can range from minor changes to the Customer Portal screens through to integrating new facilities into Infra. 

Infra incorporates many customization features which can be performed at different levels, including:

• by the user to customize his/her own experience;
• by qualified administrators to customize the organizational experience;
• by qualified developers to modify the behavior of standard functionality or to add new functionality.

Alt Vision Experience

During the seven years that Alt Vision has been supporting Infra, it has provided customization of some form to many of its installed base. 

Alt Vision works closely with EMC Infra and often these additional requirements have been incorporated in to the standard functionality of later versions of Infra.  

Examples of development/customization performed by Alt Vision include:

• developing a .Net procurement system with tight integration with the Infra Service desk and CMDB;
• extending the Asset Management System for bulk transactions;
• Customer Portal branding and styling so the portal matches the corporate image;
• extensions to the Partitioning specifically for Outsources.

Qualified Developers

Alt Vision has a team of experienced developers, including three certified developers, available to modify or extend the Infra out-of-the-box functionality to ensure the optimum return on investment.
